Which is very good in this sense as the new models have gone away from the hand stamping I’m afraid.
If you look closely between the 1 and L, you can see that this is Laser cut instead of stamped, however the spacing and hight of it is uneven and off. Another great sign is that it is indeed stamped (take a look at the pressure applied to the bottom left of the “S” and you’ll see it has a thicker stamp than the rest) Moving to the “ST Dupont” name plate shows that it is thin and sharply detailed. The arrow with the plus are not micro sized as the fake ones are which is a good sign. So taking a look at the lighter from left to right,
